Keshorn Walcott is a distinguished Trinidadian track and field athlete who specializes in the javelin throw. He etched his name in history at the 2012 London Olympics, where he won the gold medal with a throw of 84.58 meters. This monumental achievement made him the youngest Olympic champion in the javelin throw and the first Caribbean male athlete to win an Olympic gold medal in a throwing event.

His success continued at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, where he secured a gold medal, further solidifying his status as a world-class competitor. Walcott followed this with a bronze medal performance at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing and a valiant silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, defending his place on the global podium.
